Common questions
Where are my favorites stored?
On your device only, in the app's local storage. They are never sent anywhere, and since they aren't synced through iCloud, they stay on whichever device you added them on.
Does Hisn al-Muslim work without an internet connection?
Yes. All chapters are included in the app itself, so it works fully offline from first launch.
Can I change the text size or hide the translation?
Yes. Open Settings to adjust the Arabic text size, and to show or hide the Arabic, transliteration, translation and reference for each du'a.
Where does the text come from?
The Arabic, transliteration and translation are the classical Hisn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim) text by Sa'id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani. If you notice any wording that looks off, please cross-check with a trusted print copy.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and nothing to set up — open the app and start reading.
